'WE CAME HOME' was also chosen as 'pick of the uploader' for the week and played on Saturday 21st December. Tom said they were 'mesmerised' by it when they heard it - so kind, and such a great way to finish 2013, cheers BBC!

Mehalah Ray is a multi-instrumentalist, recording artist, songwriter and composer and vocalist. She plays guitar, keyboards and cello, recording her original music on Apple Logic Pro X sofware, through Focusrite Scarlett interfaces, Rode and Sure microphones. Guitars include Faith, Washburn, Tanglewood and Fender.
Mehalah Ray's (formerly Rachel Clark) first demo EP SAFER was recorded in January 2013.
The title track Safer and We Came Home were played by Tom Simkins on BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire.
In April 2014 Dermot O'Leary played We Came Home on his Radio 2 show.

In 2013 Mehalah Ray performed 'Reach Out' for the first time, a song I co-wrote with The Staycations As well as performing on The Rigel Stage, I did a couple of video tracks for the new Lodestar Sessions.
In 2012 I performed my first ever festival acoustic set. As well as booking amazing headline act Sir Bob Geldof my thanks to Doug and Charlie for supporting young local Cambridge artists like me!
