Mehalah Ray plays The Bodega in Nottingham, Saturday March 10th
Had a wonderful evening playing the Leeds College of Music Crosswire event, thanks to the organisers at LCoM for inviting me! My sound is evolving and the back line is growing, looking forward to introducing some new faces in the new year!
Great start to gigging in Leeds. So excited to be creating a bigger sound and playing to new audiences! Here's a photo from last night at Old Bar, thanks to Ishaan for amazing work on the cajon!
If you're in Bristol on Friday 22nd July I'd love to see you at The Haze Sessions, a night of live music hosted by BBC Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens on behalf of Thatchers Cider. Doors open 6.30pm til midnight, my set is at 21.35pm Click here for a chance to win free tickets!
My thanks to Bod Dellar and the wonderful people of Kedington for inviting me to perform at their Valentine's Folk Night. Andy Adams was awesome, really great voice and storyteller.
Fun times at The Architect pub in Cambridge with sets from Mark Ellis and Melody and Bryan Causton. Been saving my gig money for ages and this was the first outing with my awesome new Faith Naked Series Venus FKV acoustic guitar, and I love it to bits, can’t wait to gig it more.
I really enjoyed performing alongside Morganway and SJ Mortimer at Cambridge’s Relevant Record Cafe. Ahead of the release of her new Nashville recorded EP, SJ performed as a new girlpower trio for the first time which came across really well. Morganway set the audience on fire with a really strong performance; you can catch more of their cool vibe at next month’s Secret Garden Party
